Hello there and Welcome Home! Madison Home will be starting a new tradition. A spring Clearance Sale that will last for one week only with up to 75% off most items in the store.
Lam went to Market and found great new furniture lines to add to the showroom floor along with new items from our staple companies. To make room for everything we thought putting up a tent and offering great deals might give us the extra floor space needed.
Don’t forget to stop by and see what we have to offer. Perhaps a chair or sofa you’ve had your eye on for months will have just the price you’ve been waiting for. We have dinning chairs and bar stools from Dinec marked 75% off. Pieces from Barcalounger, Lillian August, Classic Leather, Lane Venture Outdoor and more marked 50% off with an additional 10% the last marked price.
We can’t wait to see you…at Madison Home.
EXCLUDES: AMERICAN LEATHER SLEEPER SOFAS and EKRONES

December 1st, 2010
December has rushed upon us much like the 25.9 inches of snow in our yards but that doesn’t mean you can’t take time to indulge in our new home furnishings.
We carry a modern-retro line of furniture and wall art by Paul Robert and have added new sofas, chairs, ottomans, art and accessories throughout the showroom. Lines like Hickory Chair, Elite Leather, Our House Design, Harden and more can transform a lifeless space into something enjoyable for the whole family just in time for the holidays.
We are offering 40 percent off the regular price of any item (except Ekornes and American Leather Comfort Sleeper) good until Dec. 31st.
Eight Christmas trees are shown throughout the showroom with beautiful ornaments, picks and garland to flank any tree big or small.
Allow yourself that much needed down time from the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season; come home to Madison Home.

Welcome Home

We have it MADE and so should you!
In February I attended one of our furniture manufacturer’s training classes. I expected to be adding to my knowledge of how fine furniture is made, and I did. But oh my, did I bring back so much more…a life lesson really! The company is Hickory Chair and I attended their Hickory Chair University along with other designers and furniture store owners from across the country.
As we put on our protective glasses and headsets to tour the casegoods section of the factory, I became very excited. I was getting to see where our clients’ heirloom quality pieces are made! I was struck immediately by the fact that it is not a factory but more of a custom workroom. It was spotless, calm and the artisans were happily concentrating on their work. I was very impressed to see sofa and chair legs being turned and carved. Almost every other company imports theirs.
Along with learning details about how the furniture is made, we learned of Hickory Chair’s EDGE Program (Employees Dedicated to Growth). The EDGE Program is the reason the company runs so well, their products are so exquisite, they have happy employees and why they’ve had only one price increase in 10 years. The program is designed to stretch and empower employees and “not to find blame but find solutions.” They talk about how daily actions should reflect mutual respect. This mindset really does effect us; the end consumers. Without this mindset, Hickory Chair would not be able to create the highly designed custom furniture they do.
The president Jay Reardon and director of the University Laura Holland were so down to earth and engaging. I thank them for an incredible experience!
We encourage our Madison Home clients to visit our showroom and to see and touch the Hickory Chair collection to find out why their motto is, “Furniture made better then seems necessary.”

All the work that goes into a chair frame!

Working on an armoire

Even the insides of casegoods are finished!

Welcome home! Spring design has popped up and we have some fantastic ideas for your home.
Pink is not just a color for Easter eggs but for rooms as well. Different shades of pink looks great with chocolate browns, rich blacks, creams and whites. You can use pale pink flowers in a crystal vase to brighten up a table or choose a pretty pink paint to cheer up a wall.
Pink isn’t the only spring color that can give new life to a space. Blue is a great accent color with browns and creamy whites. In our showroom we’ve painted three walls a shade of blue that plays off the white prints, creamy white and leather furniture, as well as the warm woods. Nothing is more calming then a sea shade of blue. Warm, rich, natural colors bring a bit of the outside in and now is the perfect time to transform a room in your home.
Checkout our attached pictures to take a closer look at some of the fabulous rooms mentioned above here…at the Madison Home.
